Undersökningen genomfördes för att ge ökad kunskap om hur invånarna i Uppsala tätort upplever trygghet i det egna bostadsområdet.

Resultaten från undersökningen redovisas våren 2024 och kommer tillsammans med andra kartläggningar och undersökningar att bidra till en mer heltäckande bild av behov och utmaningar för att öka den upplevda tryggheten i Uppsala.

Det här är tredje gången kommunen genomför en trygghetsundersökning och svaren är ett mycket viktigt underlag för att kunna planera trygghetsarbetet.

Survey on residents' experience of security 2023

Within the next few days close to 15 000 randomly selected residents of Uppsala city will receive a survey on experienced security by mail. The survey is carried out by Statistics Sweden on behalf of Uppsala municipality.

We are conducting the survey to find out how residents of Uppsala experience security and vulnerability to crime in their neighbourhoods.

The outcome of the survey will be published in the spring of 2024. This survey, combined with further information and surveys, will contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of needs and challenges regarding the pursuit to increase security in Uppsala.

This is the third time the municipality of Uppsala carries out a survey on residents' experience of security. The experiences and views expressed in the survey are important elements of our improvement planning process towards increased security.
