International work
The City of Uppsala is involved in various types of international work, for example Nordic sister city alliance, contacts in Europe, USA and South Korea, networks and projects.
The international work complies with the guidelines of the international strategy approved by the City Council in 1998. In accordance with this strategy, the purpose of the international involvement is to promote growth in the area of Uppsala and to contribute to the business development of City of Uppsala in addition to peace, democracy and safety.
