The committee was composed of City commissioners Lena Hartwig (Socialist), Britt Löfgren (Left Party), Leif Sanner (Liberal Party) and Ola Leife (Christian Democrats), who called in the chairperson of the Cultural affairs board, Kees Geurtsen (Socialist) and from the Real estate board, Irene Zetterberg (Socialist) as well as chairperson John-Erik Thun (Socialist) and vice chairperson Jan-Erik Wikström (Liberal Party) from Musikens Hus i Uppsala AB.

The City executive office through the chief planning director Carl-Johan Engström and project coordinator Mona Askelöf had the overall responsibility for coordinating the project.  Project administrator Jonnie Andersson from the Real estate office participated.

The Real estate office selected Hifab Byggprojektledaren AB to be responsible for the project administrative services that are demanded for leading the project during the handling of system documents.
